JAKARTA - Anthropic officially expands the availability of Claude in Google Chrome to all paid users, including Pro, Team, and Enterprise customers, starting December 18.

In its latest announcement, along with the availability of Claude on Chrome, Anthropic also released the feature that users requested the most, namely the integration of Claude Code.

This feature allows developers to build code directly through the terminal, verify results in the browser, and debug with Claude that can read console errors and DOM status directly.

Previously, Claude in Chrome has been available in beta for Max package subscribers since November 24, 2025. During the trial period, Anthropic presented a number of major updates, including task scheduling features, to smarter navigation on various sites that users often use.

"After months of real-world testing, we're ready to expand it to all paid plans. We've also launched the most requested feature: integration for Claude Code," the company wrote.

For Team and Enterprise plans, Anthropic provides more extensive administrative controls. Admins can now enable or disable the Claude extension in Chrome on an organizational level, as well as manage a list of allowed and blocked sites.

Anthropic considers the integration of AI directly in the browser as an inevitable step. Because according to the company, most digital work activities take place in the browser.

"We view AI using a browser as something inevitable, so much work happens in the browser that giving Claude the ability to see what you see, click a button, and fill out a form will make it much more useful," he concluded.
