JAKARTA Meta announced a reshuffle of the Facebook app to improve user experience. The reshuffle includes updates on feeds, navigation, to search features.

Feeds will be made simpler so users can enjoy content more easily and connect with more people who have similar interests. Multi-photo uploads will also turn into settings in the standard lattice.

Facebook will also get capabilities similar to Instagram. By just tapping on photo uploads twice, the upload will be immediately liked. This is an easy way to like content.

The feed content display will also be a full screen when clicked. With this simplification, Facebook wants to keep users focused on the content they like the most. The main navigation in the tabbar will also get an overhaul.

In this update, features such as Reels, Teman, Marketplace, and Profile will be placed at the front and center of the Tab bar. Users will also see updated menu designs and cleaner notification tabs.

These changes are designed to facilitate access to important functions and get up-to-date information with minimal interference. The search feature on Facebook is also experiencing an increase with results that support all types of content.

Meta is also testing a new full screen viewer for photos and video results, allowing users to explore various media without losing the initial position of the search. This feature is planned to be extended to more types of content in the coming months.

Meta also changed the experience of commenting on feeds, Groups and Reels. This update includes a more concise reply, a prominent badge display, and a new embedding tool to make conversations easier to follow.

All of these changes are referred to as the beginning of a neater and easier-to-use Facebook update. Meta states that it will bring in more updates, which may continue Facebook's reshuffle, in 2026.
