JAKARTA - DANA's digital wallet launched AI Enable Playbook, a practical guide for industry players to assess and improve their readiness to adopt artificial intelligence (AI).

This guide summarizes the insights, metrics, and principles of implementing safe, inclusive, and scalable AI designed to support the implementation of the AI roadmap initiated by the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs.

DANA co-Founder Vince Iswara stated that the launch background of this AI Enable Playbook is because while global industry players are competing to take advantage of AI, there are still many organizations that do not yet have a directed and measurable framework.

"AI Enable Playbook can be a guideline for the industry to ensure the implementation of AI remains safe, inclusive, and has a real impact. With collaboration and cross-sectoral readiness, technological advances such as AI can provide benefits to society and even the Indonesian economy," said Vince.

To ensure the success of implementing AI, this guideline provides recommendations for strategic actions for both the government, companies (enterprises), and startups.

One of them is by prioritizing a 3P framework that focuses on People (empowerment of talents through literacy, mindset, and skills), Platforms (data infrastructure), and Policy (policy, structure, and collaboration).

Industry players can also ensure their readiness through the AI Enable Checklist, which includes clarity of business goals, data readiness and infrastructure, as well as the availability of safe and standardized AI tools, to prevent the practice of BYOAI (Bring Your Own AI) which risks threatening the security of company and consumer data.

Later, the results of the assessment can be classified into three levels of readiness: Curious, Committed, and Confident, which provides a concrete overview of their position in the course of AI transformation.

"This can be a reference for companies in taking further steps to determine priorities, improve gaps, and build AI implementations to suit their needs, create positive impacts on users, and support the company's business sustainability," he concluded.
