Amazon And Google Collaboration Launches New Multicloud Network Service

JAKARTA Amazon Web Services (AWS) is developing a multicloud network service with Google. This service was introduced in the form of a preview on Sunday, November 30, 2025.

This new offer combines AWS' multicloud interconnect with Google Cloud's Cross-Cloud Interconnect. This collaboration is carried out to improve network interoperability between the two cloud providers.

"AWS Interconnect multicloud allows customers to adopt multicloud strategies while migrating more applications to the cloud," Amazon said. "(This service) provides a simple, resilient, and high-speed private connection to other cloud service providers (CSP)."

Simply put, with this service, customers can create high-speed private links between the two companies' computing platforms. This connection process can now be done in just a matter of minutes.

This is an upgrade from previous AWS services that took up to weeks. That way, users can save more time connecting two computing platforms.

This launch came after AWS experienced major disruptions at the end of October 2025. The disruption caused thousands of websites around the world to be disrupted. Although the duration of the disturbance is short, the outage is quite large.

The outage disabled some of the world's most popular internet applications, including Snapchat and Reddit. This shows the importance of resilient connectivity and the availability of sustainable services.
