Android 16 Stable Version Begins To Be Launched To Motorola Edge 50 Ultra

JAKARTA At October 2025, Motorola opened the Android 1 beta trial phase for the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra. Now, the operating system (OS) has been tested and is starting to expand stably.

Launching from Gizmochina, this big update has been seen in Brazil. The company, which just made a comeback in Indonesia in February 2025, launched Android 16 with the build number W1UV36H.61-15.

This OS update has a download size of 1.64GB. This update is quite large because it brings many improvements, ranging from adding a number of features, improving security, to adding important patches.

As usual, this update is launched in stages so that global users will get their OS within a few days. If up to a week the update doesn't appear, users can check the update via Settings.

Android 16 is the second major OS received by Edge 50 Ultra owners. This device was launched last year with the Android 14 system on board. According to Motorola's promise, the company will receive another Android OS update next year.

Although the OS update will expire next year, this phone will continue to receive security patches until April 2028. This commitment to this update shows Motorola's long-term support for their flagship devices.

It should be noted that the addition of Android 16 will not change the visual display of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra significantly. However, this OS brings many improvements that are beneficial for the software experience.

One of the new features that stands out is Flash Notification. This feature will make the camera light or screen blink when the user receives a call and notification. Another feature that is quite useful is Notification Cooldown.

This feature will reduce the volume of incoming notifications from one application in a row. This Android 16 update also brings Advanced Protection, a series of security features designed to protect devices from threats and vulnerabilities.
