JAKARTA - Lenovo officially launched AI Glasses V1 in China at a price of 3,999 yuan or around Rp. 8.9 million. The device will go on sale on November 9 through JD.com, and is designed for those who want a smart wearable experience with functional and lightweight AI features.
These smart glasses only weigh 38 grams and use a disin diffraction light waveguide screen with peak brightness of up to 2000 nits. A 1.8 mm thick lens has a 15\times11 mm sight area that remains stable even when the user moves a little. Lenovo claims the design minimizes the pressure on the nose and ears so it's comfortable to wear for a long time.
AI Glasses V1 is equipped with two microphones and two speakers for hands-free and stereo audio calls. It embeds the intelligent assistant Tianxi AI, which supports voice commands, real-time translations, and direct information searches in front of the user's eyes. The translator feature allows two-language conversations to appear in the form of text and sound on the glass screen as if they have a personal translator in front of their eyes.

For creators and public speakers, Lenovo presents a built-in teleprompter mode. When connected to a smart ring made by Lenovo, users can scroll the script or control the slide without the need to take their eyes off the audience.
Glasses have touch panels to set calls, messages, and content on the screen. There is also AI navigation that provides visual and voice guides in real-time (currently only compatible with Android). Interestingly, users can choose monocular or binocular display modes as needed.
Battery life varies depending on mode: 4 hours for teleprompter, 810 hours for translation mode, and about 2.6 hours if the screen is set to brightness and maximum volume. Fast charging of 40 minutes is enough to be full, while standby time can reach 250 hours. Its connectivity relies on Bluetooth 5.4.
In addition to these smart glasses, Lenovo also introduced LOQ Essential gaming laptops with Ryzen processors and RTX 4050 GPUs, as well as 140W 20,000mAh smart bank power which is now available in the US market.
These glasses mark Lenovo's move towards a new era of wearable AI not only smart devices, but also personal assistants who can translate the world in sight.
