Moto X70 Air Ready To Launch: Super Thin Design, 50MP Tiga Lens Camera, And Speeding Performance!

JAKARTA - Motorola is preparing to launch its newest cellphone, Moto X70 Air, on the Chinese market on October 31. However, before its official debut, this device can be ordered first through the Lenovo Mall and JD.com platforms. This pre-order also reveals the prices and variants offered.

According to the latest report, Moto X70 Air is available in two memory configurations: the 12GB RAM variant with 256GB storage is priced at 2,599 yuan (around Rp5.7 million), while the 12GB + 512GB version sells for 2,899 yuan (around Rp6.3 million). This phone comes in three elegant color choices Gangget Gray, Lily Pad, and Bronze Green all of which have obtained color validation from Pantone for display accuracy.

Moto X70 Air is predicted to be a rebranded version of the Motorola Edge 70 which will launch globally on November 5. In specifications, the phone carries a 6.7-inch POLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K (1,220 x 2,712 pixels), a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a peak brightness level of up to 4,500 nits. The screen also has SGS certification for eye protection and an under-screen fingerprint sensor.

In the performance sector, Moto X70 Air is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset combined with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The cooling system uses 3D vapor chamber technology to keep the temperature stable during high performance. Its life power is supported by a 4,800mAh battery with fast charging of 68W cables and 15W wireless.

The camera is quite impressive with a 50 megapixel resolution sensor configuration: Samsung S5KGNJ main lens, ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front camera for selfies. The connectivity features are complete, ranging from 5G networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, OTG, to USB Type-C ports.

Moto X70 Air has also pocketed IP68 and IP69 certifications, signaling high resistance to water and dust. Another advantage that steals attention is its ultra-thin design with a thickness of only 5.99 mm and a light weight of about 159 grams making it one of the thinest phones in its class.

In comparison, the global version, Motorola Edge 70, is expected to be sold in Europe at a price of between 710 and 810 euros (around Rp1214 million). With the much more affordable banderol in China, Moto X70 Air seems to be a serious competitor in the mid-premium segment.
