JAKARTA – Nano Banana, an editing tool integrated with Gemini, has finally been expanded to more products in Indonesia. This editing tool is now accessible in Google Lens and AI Mode.
This launch makes Indonesia the third country in the world to gain access to Nano Banana. Prior to the expansion, this feature was only available in two countries, namely the US and India, in English.
"Image editing features in Lens and AI Mode are now available in Indonesia," said Google Indonesia, quoted on Thursday, October 23. "(Users) can immediately edit photos using our latest image editing model."
To start using Nano Banana, users simply need to open Google Lens in the Google app, available on Android and iOS devices. Then, users can search for and tap the Create mode icon, which resembles a yellow banana.
Next, users can take a new photo and describe the type of edits they want through a text prompt. Users can also try suggested prompts, such as "create my photo with the photobooth version" for instant results.
If users don't want to take selfies, they can use the rear camera to capture what they see. There's also the option to select a photo directly from your phone's gallery for editing.
In addition to editing existing photos, users can now create images directly in AI Mode. Simply select the "Create image" tool and enter a prompt for the image they want to create.
Users can follow up on edits by continuing the conversation in AI Mode. This will help users get style ideas or interesting recommendations. Google will roll out this new feature in more countries and languages in the future.
The English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and French versions are automatically generated by the AI. So there may still be inaccuracies in translating, please always see Indonesian as our main language. (system supported by DigitalSiber.id)
