The smartphone is currently very expensive. Foldable phones like the Pixel 10 Pro Fold or the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will cost close to $ 2,000 (IDR 33 million). But if you're willing to spend more, Vertu is ready to serve you. The company has just announced its newest smartphone, Vertu Agent Q, a luxury AI-agentic-based smartphone.

As expected from Vertu, Agent Q continues to characterize the company's design using luxury materials. This phone uses various materials that you may find in high-end fashion brands, such as crocodile skin, gold details, stainless steel components, and others.

Agent Q also comes with Vertu's typical Concierge service. By pressing the "Ruby Key" button on the side of the phone, you will connect with a team of more than 200 people who are ready to serve your requests, such as booking flights, looking for tables at restaurants, and so on.

Obviously, this is not a mobile phone aimed at the mass market. In fact, the company stated that only 27 units were made according to orders (bespoke) and exclusively available at Harrods in London. About the price, be prepared. According to Vertu, customers can pay between 12,880 and 18,800 US dollars (Rp213.8 million-312.1 million).

While it's easy to think of Vertu's latest mobile effort as just a striking luxury smartphone, there are actually some interesting hardware features and components. For starters, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite "Supreme". This is basically a higher version of the chipset (of the best chip selection).

Agent Q also boasted a 6.02-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 16GB RAM, and storage up to 1TB. But what's interesting is that this phone has a dedicated hardware encryption chip. This means if you are an individual with a high net worth that needs to protect the company's trade secrets, this phone will keep it locked and secure.

Second, Vertu positions this phone as an AI-agentic phone. That is, instead of relying on many individual apps, you can rely on AI analytics to get the job done. We haven't tried it yet, so we don't know how well it works. However, this is an interesting idea, but making it happen is a different story.

This phone also has a three-camera setup with a 50MP main camera, 64MP telephoto, and 50MP ultrawide. Finally, Agent Q packs a 5.565mAh battery with 65W cable charging.
