Microsoft Launches AI-Based Update On Windows 11, Copilot Is Increasingly Sophisticated

JAKARTA - Microsoft announced the expansion of artificial intelligence (AI) transformation in its operating system through a major update to Windows 11, to make it an AI PC, with Copilot at its center.

"We make this advanced AI more accessible by integrating it into Windows experiences that people already use every day," said Microsoft Consumer Chief Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Yusuf Mehdi, on his official blog.

The Copilot Voice feature now allows users to interact naturally using voice commands. Simply with the word 'Hey Copilot', users can ask for help for various things, from writing, answering questions, to adjusting PC settings.

In addition, a goodbye voice command is also added to end the conversation, providing a more natural experience. This feature is already available on all Windows 11 PCs via the latest Copilot update.

Furthermore, it is the Copilot Vision update that can now understand what appears on the screen. Users can ask him to explain how to use the app, suggest steps to take one action, or even recognize visual elements for work purposes.

For example, when opening product photos, users can ask directly, How to make an interesting description for this? andpilot will provide advice directly based on screen content.

Along with the update, Microsoft also introduced Copilot Actions, a system that allows Copilot to follow up on complex commands.

For example, users can ask Copilot to schedule meetings, email, or copy inter-application data without having to change windows.

There is also a Copilot Connectors feature, wherepilot can now connect with various popular services such as Outlook, OneDrive, Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Calendar.

For example, if you ask for Copilot's help working on your homework, you can export the results directly into your selected documents, spreadsheets, or presentations.

Microsoft also introduced Manus, a generative AI agent that can help create websites only from local documents. Users simply right-click files in File Explorer and select Create a website with Manus

Finally, File Explorer in Windows 11 now also has a new AI action to edit videos using Filmora, as well as Zoom integration with Click to Do which makes it easier to schedule meetings by highlighting email addresses.
