JAKARTA Perfect Corp, a beauty industry technology company, is presenting a new innovation. The company launched the AI Editing Agent, a feature that can be found in the YouCam Perfect app.

For now, the AI Editing Agent is only available on YouCam Perfect for iOS devices. This feature is designed to help users edit photos by simply submitting instructions in the form of conversations.

This feature is a response to the global trend of photo editing with Artificial Intelligence (AI). Currently, there are many chatbot platforms that support sophisticated editing and this ability has gone viral on social media. In fact, this feature is also busy in Indonesia.

Based on the results of the YouGov study, about 58 percent of Indonesians feel comfortable with the images made by AI. This shows that Indonesia is quite open to the adoption of the AI feature for photo editing.

To optimize simplicity in editing, users do not need to select menus or study complicated functions. They only need to type simple commands such as using chatbots.

According to Perfect Corp, this capability also supports commands such as 'Dissolved' or complex requests such as making polaroid-style photos. Apparently, the company wants to compete with Google's Nano Banana.

This advanced technology builds on the foundation of the latest Vision-Language AI. In addition, this feature takes advantage of the latest image model, the Gemini 2.5 Flash Image. The combination of this technology guarantees that each edited result looks more detailed, realistic, and consistent.
