TikTok Sends Traffic And Monetization Data, Komdigi Revokes TDPSE Freeze

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs has officially revoked the temporary freezing status of the TikTok Electronic System Operators List (TDPSE) Pte. Ltd.

In his statement, the Director General of Digital Space Supervision of the Ministry of Komdigi, Alexander Sabar, explained that TikTok had sent data requested by the government.

"TikTok has submitted requested data related to traffic escalation and monetization activity of TikTok Live in the period 25'30 August 2025, through an official letter dated October 3, 2025," said Alex.

The data submitted includes daily recapitulation of traffic escalation, monetization amount, and indications of monetization that violates aggregate. Based on a thorough analysis, Komdigi assessed that the obligation to provide data had been fulfilled.

Therefore, on the basis of fulfilling this obligation, Komdigi terminated the temporary freezing status of TDPSE and reactivated TikTok's status as a registered Electronic System Operator.

With the lifting of this freeze, the public using TikTok can continue to carry out normal activities, while the government ensures that digital space remains healthy, safe, and transparent.

This step also affirms Komdigi's commitment to enforcing the law and building a trusted digital ecosystem.

Alex reminded all Private Scope Electronic System Operators (PSE Private) to comply with national law provisions that apply for the sustainability of Indonesia's digital space.

"We will continue to carry out sustainable supervision and communication with all PSE Private, in order to ensure the effectiveness of implementing regulations and the sustainability of a safe, reliable, and conducive digital ecosystem," he said.
