JAKARTA Starship, SpaceX's megarocket, is scheduled to fly back in the coming weeks. The rocket is targeted to take off on October 13 for its 11th Flight Test.
This will be the final launch of a series of launches for Starship version 2. As SpaceX said on its official website, the rocket will be launched from the Starbase facility located in South Texas.
SpaceX will broadcast live via a webcast about 30 minutes before the ride launch. The launch window will open at 19.15 p.m. local time. The launch can be done an hour earlier than planned.
Starship is an important vehicle developed by SpaceX to realize Elon Musk's ambition, namely to fly humans to Mars and make habitats stay there. To pursue this ambition, Starship must be developed carefully.
This giant rocket consists of two fully reusable stainless steel elements. The two elements are the first stage boosters called Super Heavy and the top stage known as Ship or Starship.
