Xiaomi Introduces HyperOS 3, Here's A Line Of Improvements

JAKARTA - Xiaomi introduced HyperOS 3, a new operating system (OS) that brings three major breakthroughs to their ecosystem. This improvement will bring many new features.

As explained by Xiaomi Indonesia Marketing Director Andi Renreng, at the Xiaomi 15T Series launch event, this OS upgrade includes a more intuitive design, smoother interconnectivity, and stronger Artificial Intelligence (AI). Here are the details.

More Intuitive Design

HyperOS 3 updated its interface (UI) with a fresher material style and finer animation. Through this design update, Xiaomi wants to present a more modern look with a simpler icon and more informative widgets.

The biggest innovation of UI HyperOS 3 is Xiaomi HyperIsland, a feature that makes Xiaomi similar to iOS. This feature will appear at the top of the screen to facilitate activity tracking and multi-tasking. The notification display is easier to see with this feature.

HyperIsland also offers flexibility, where users can swipe to switch between bubble notifications. Users can tap to get more information or even perform important actions without opening the app in full.

Smoother And Open Interconnectivity

Interconnectivity support is also strengthened through features such as Xiaomi HyperConnect and Home Screen Plus. Synchronization of applications, files, and experiences between smartphones and tablets is now getting smoother on HyperOS 3.

This OS presents new features such as cross-device unlocking that allow the device to be accessed remotely. In addition, Xiaomi also provides easier photo transfer features and files between devices.

For a more open experience, Home Screen Plus can now connect with cross-ecosystem laptops, such as MacBooks. Users can run favorite apps from their smartphones in separate windows on laptop screens.

Stronger AI Features

Xiaomi Hyper AI on HyperOS 3 has also increased in all parts, including text, speech, search, and images. Integration of AI writing now uses a mini GPT-4o, allowing the device to recognize images on the screen.

In the speech section, now there is a voice enhancement feature that keeps the sound clear even though the user is in a noisy place. Meanwhile, the AI search feature becomes smarter, where users simply ask questions and AI will analyze, search, and provide a brief summary of the answers needed.
