The Ministry of Culture Distributes Musical Instruments to 47 Art Groups in Bogor

BOGOR - Minister of Culture Fadli Zon has asked for help for musical instruments provided to 47 art groups in Bogor to really be used to revive community activities. The assistance includes angklung, rebana, marawis, hadroh, gamelan to active speakers.

The handover was made to the group of binaan Yayasan Annida Tanjungsari in Cibinong, Bogor, Saturday, August 15.

"We also have to mobilize music communities throughout Indonesia," said Fadli.

According to Fadli, support for the art community is not only carried out in Bogor. The Ministry of Culture also provides assistance and training to the sanggar and street music community in 12 cities in the Jabodetabek area.

"Street musicians are trained and facilitated by the Ministry of Culture," he said.

For the group of binaan of the Annida Tanjungsari Foundation, assistance is provided according to the needs of the music community, art center, padepokan and art groups.

Fadli hopes that the equipment does not stop as a commodity assistance, but is used directly in artistic activities.

"Hopefully these aids can support artistic activities," he said.

"We hope that this hadroh, gamelan, sound system can also be used for activities in various places, and also be used for art activities," continued Fadli.

He said the cultural facilities and infrastructure facilitation program was part of the revitalization and development of culture. The program also includes museums and cultural heritages.

Fadli said Bogor and West Java have a long cultural footprint. A number of relics are in the region, including the Batu Tulis Inscription, Ciaruteun, Jambu, Kebon Kopi to the Domas Sculpture.

The Ministry of Culture has also carried out a revitalization program for cultural sites in Bogor and its surroundings.

The handover of assistance was attended by the Ministry of Culture, regional government, artists, cultural activists, and the Bogor art community. A total of 47 binaan groups received equipment to be used in art and religious activities.
