MediaTek Launches Dimensity Processor 7360

JAKARTA After launching the Dimensity 9500 processor, MediaTek is now introducing its newest mid-range processor, Dimensity 7360. Although new, there are not many improvements to this processor.

Dimensity 7360 is an update for the Dimensity 7300 model. Therefore, the configuration still feels familiar. This processor has four cores of Arm Cortex-A78 performance operating up to 2.5GHz.

These cores are paired with four core Cortex-A55 efficiency. MediaTek relies on software optimization to make this processor superior to its competitors. One of the advantages that can be seen is the Adaptive Gaming Technology 3.0 support.

This technology promises a smoother frame rate by balancing visuals and performance. Despite being balanced, MediaTek managed to maintain the efficiency of the Dimensity 7360 battery.

The company stated that this processor was able to provide a frame rate of up to 20 percent better. Power efficiency is also claimed to increase by 20 percent compared to competing platforms. However, these figures still need to be proven in real terms.

For photography, this processor is equipped with ISP Imagine 950. This technology supports a resolution camera of up to 200MP. The features included include real-time HDR video recording and noise reduction with movement compensation.

In addition, Dimensity 7360 also has MiraVision 955. This technology serves to increase display rendering on the WFHD+ panel with 10-bit color support. This processor supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth LE Audio connectivity.

This processor is also equipped with NPU 655 for AI-based tasks. This NPU supports various types of data to increase efficiency. In addition, Dimensity 7360 supports LPDDR4x RAM memory and LPDDR5, as well as UFS 3.1 storage.
