JAKARTA - Samsung Electronics Indonesia officially launched the Samsung for Education Programme, an integrated digital ecosystem to help schools optimize the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.

This initiative is aimed at supporting the government's efforts to accelerate national digital transformation in providing learning that is capable of developing the potential of each student.

Samsung for Education Programme is in line with the Digital Learning for Smart Indonesia programme which has reached more than 288,000 schools across Indonesia, as well as supporting an education ecosystem that includes more than 50 million students and 4 million teachers.

"At Samsung, we believe that technology should be a means to empower every individual. We have a vision to help schools in our region prepare for the future optimally and every teacher gets the support they need," said Vice President and Regional Head of Mobile eXperience Business, Samsung Electronics Southeast Asia and Oceania, Carl Nordenberg.

Samsung for Education combines devices designed for educational needs, ongoing teacher development, and recognition programs for schools in an integrated ecosystem.

These three elements complement each other to help schools transform from the early stages of digital adoption to a sustainable digital transformation.

The Samsung for Education Programme combines Galaxy Tab devices equipped with S Pen, Samsung Notes, Galaxy AI, and Samsung Knox security systems.

In addition, through the Samsung Learning Hub, teachers can follow tiered training ranging from basic to advanced levels to integrate technology into learning activities.

Samsung also provides certification pathways for educators through the Samsung Certified Educator and Samsung Certified Innovator programs. Meanwhile, for schools, there are development stages ranging from Samsung School to Samsung Digital Lighthouse School.

Samsung said this program is part of the company's long-term commitment to support the digital transformation of education that is more adaptive, inclusive, and sustainable in Indonesia.
