Microsoft Increases Xbox Series Prices In US Starting October 3

JAKRTA - Microsoft has again raised the price of the Xbox Series game console in the United States starting October 3, 2025. This increase follows global adjustments previously made in May.

In an official announcement on its website, Microsoft said that the main reason behind the price adjustment was the ongoing macroeconomic condition.

"We understand that this change is challenging and done with careful consideration. Going forward, we will continue to focus on offering more ways to play more games on any screen and provide value to Xbox players," the company wrote.

Based on official data, the price of the Xbox Series S rose by 20 US dollars (Rp. 320 thousand), while the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series X Digital rose by 50 US dollars (Rp. 800 thousand). As for the special edition of the Xbox Series X 2TB Galaxy Black, the higher increase reached 70 US dollars (Rp1.12 million).

So far, there is no information on whether this price adjustment will also apply outside the United States, including the Asian market.
