JAKARTA YouTube announced the latest various products and innovations at Made on YouTube's annual event. These new features are presented to help create content easily.
One of the main focuses on the event is an integrated feature with Artificial Intelligence (AI), especially on the Shorts channel. The company under Google introduced the Edit with AI feature that can turn raw footage into a more interesting video.
"We are experimenting with Edit with AI on Shorts and on the YouTube Create app, and Indonesia is one of the first countries to gain access to this feature," YouTube said, quoted from its official website on Wednesday, September 17.
In addition, YouTube is now working with Google DeepMind in presenting an AI-based advanced video creation model, namely Veo 3. To reduce the limit on the use of this feature, YouTube has also integrated Veo 3 Fast for millions of users.
"This feature generates lower latency output at a resolution of 480p so you can easily create video clips," explained YouTube. "This feature is rolling out now in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, with plans to immediately expand it to more than you."
