JAKARTA Apple launched a playlist import tool on the Apple Music app last August, but is still limited in a number of countries. Now, this feature has been expanded to the rest of the world.

Despite being expanded globally, Apple is still imposing restrictions in some countries. On its official website, Apple notes that the playlist transfer feature from other streaming apps will not be available in three countries.

"Transfer your library and playlist to Apple Music is not available in China, Myanmar and Russia," Apple wrote. It did not explain in detail why Apple did not launch Apple Music's import tools in the three countries.

This import tool was first tested by Apple in February. Then, its launch was expanded on a limited basis in Australia, New Zealand, as well as several other countries in May and last month. Now, the feature is widely available.

This import feature can be accessed on various devices, including iOS, iPadOS, Android, and also through websites. With this flexibility, users can switch streaming services easily anywhere and anytime.

This makes it very easy for users who have music collections and playlists on other platforms. With this tool, they no longer need to manually re-restart playlists.

Before using the feature, make sure that you already have an active Apple Music subscription. This subscription is the main requirement so that the import feature can be used. After that, users can follow the existing instructions.
