AI Forum 2025 Title, Samsung Focuses On Global AI Transformation

Today, Samsung officially opened a big event, namely the Samsung AI Forum 2025. This ninth forum will be held for two days, namely on Monday, 15 and Tuesday, September 16.

In this forum, Samsung gathered inustri and academic experts from various parts of the world to focus on technology. They will share and discuss the latest breakthroughs in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and explore its future research.

The focus of the discussion on the first and second days will also be differentiated by Samsung. The forum on the first day was held by Samsung's Division of Device Solutions (DS) with the theme "Vertical AI Strategy and Vision" for Semiconductor Industry.

The topics covered include the risks of current AI models, such as potential abuse and their ability to get past human control. The Division also introduces the AI Scientist, a model designed to provide fact-based honest answers.

This model is expected to improve AI security and accelerate scientific discovery. In addition, speakers in the first day of the forum also discussed the integration of AI into electronic design automation devices (EDA).

Meanwhile, the second day of the forum was held online and broadcast live via the Samsung Developer YouTube channel. The theme being carried is Generative to Agectic AI which focuses on the latest developments in AI.

Discussions on the second day included improving the capabilities of large-language model (LLM) model-based system agents. There was also a discussion on the time-to-sleep computing paradigm that allowed agents to take advantage of the interaction pause to pause, learn, and plan.

The event also discussed a large reasoning model (LRM) designed to overcome LLM limitations. This topic highlights challenges such as factual accuracy and complex reasoning.
