JAKARTA Google Photos introduces a sticker-making feature that previously existed on Apple's iOS devices. With this feature, users can create stickers only by taping and holding.
This feature allows users to quickly create stickers from photos in their gallery. In fact, a feature like this has been in Apple since 2022 under the name Visual Look Up to select the subject from the background.
Users can crop the subject, then copy and save it as a sticker. To use this feature, users only need to open photos on Google Photos, then press and hold the main subject on the photo.
Once the subject is detected, Google Photos will create cuts and provide the option to copy or share them automatically. Please note that this feature can only be accessed on the iPhone. It is not yet known when this feature will be present on Android.

Google's decision to release this feature on iOS before Android is quite interesting. Most likely, this is a strategy to keep Apple users happy using Google Photos.
Until now, there is no information on when this feature will be available on Android. Given that Google Photos is an application made by Google, this feature will most likely be present on Android devices eventually even if the time is longer.
This isn't the only feature Google has launched to keep its users. Recently, Google released features such as animation, remix, cinematic photos, collages, and in the spotlight video. The company is expected to launch a new feature again in the near future.
