Vivo V60 Officially Launches With 6,500mAh Battery And 50MP ZEISS Telephoto

Vivo has officially introduced V60, the successor to V50 which was released in February 2025. The phone is specifically intended for photography lovers, bringing in a mix of hardware and software improvements to compete in the price class. Vivo V60 is priced starting from IDR 6.8 million and can be ordered through Amazon, Flipkart, and Vivo's official stores.

On the back, there are three main cameras: Sony IMX766 50MP main sensor, IMX882 50MP telephoto, and 8MP ultrawide lens. This telephoto lens uses Vivo's "ZEISS Multifocal Portrait" feature, which allows imaging on focal length 85mm and 100mm.

This feature is very useful for producing creamy bokeh effects, even when the subject is a bit far away. Vivo also relies on AI-based image processing to clean and sharpen photos, both from the rear camera and the 50MP selfie camera at the front. Not to forget, there is also a "Aura Light" on the back to improve portrait quality in minimal light conditions.

Although equipped with a jumbo battery with a capacity of 6,500mAh, Vivo claims V60 is India's thinest phone with such a battery capacity, with a thickness of only 7.65mm and a weight of 192g.

The curved center frame makes this phone comfortable to hold, and is available in Moonlit Blue, Auspicious Gold, or Mist Gray color choices. The V60 also supports 90W fast charging, so charging the large battery won't take long.

For performance, the Vivo V60 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. This chipset is not the best for playing heavy games, but it is more than enough for daily use without any problems.

On the front, there is an AMOLED FHD+ screen with a peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits. The "micro-quad curved" glass blends with the frame, giving a subtle impression when touched. This phone will go on sale officially on August 19.
