JAKARTA Motorola Indonesia revealed the planned launch of the latest cellphone, namely Moto G86 Power. This device is claimed to come with military equivalent physical resilience without reducing the beauty of the design.

The company, which just made a comeback in Indonesia in February 2025, revealed that its cellphone is not just strong. The reason is, this cellphone with undisclosed specifications has obtained military resilience certification.

"This smartphone is designed firmly to face various challenges. A qualified Durability makes it ideal for adventures in the wild and in unexpected weather, with protection against dust, dirty, and even submerged in water," said Motorola in a statement received by VOI on Wednesday, August 6.

In addition to being resilient to dust and water, Motorola leaks the power from the Moto G86 Power screen. This device is said to use a glass screen that is resistant and anti-gores. That way, the device is suitable for use in various environments.

Motorola also revealed that this phone will offer large capacity batteries that last for days. This capability is supported by strong processors and extensive storage.

"(users) can spend the weekend charging, even when they have to charge, can recharge in an instant for long-term use," said Motorola.

For photography experience, this phone will be equipped with an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based camera. The main camera sensor is promised to produce professional shots, even in minimal light conditions.

When viewed from the version of the device that was released on July 30 in India, G86 Power offers 6720mAh batteries with IP68 and IP69 certifications. The processor used is made by MediaTek with a 50MP main camera.

It is not yet certain whether the specifications in this globally released cellphone will be different from those that will be present in Indonesia.
