JAKARTA - Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier filed a lawsuit against a number of pornographic websites deemed to have violated the Florida Act by not requiring age verification.
In an official statement, Uthmeier said that the Florida Law requires commercial entities that distribute explicit sexual content online should apply to verifying the minimum age of 18, before accessing it.
Some of the pornographic websites being sued include Webgroup Czech Republic (XVideos.com), NKL Associates (XNXX.com), Sonesta Technologies, Inc. (BangBros.com), GGW Group (GirlsGoneWild.com), and Traffic F (Traffic Factory.com).
A number of pornography companies openly violate the age verification law in Florida by exposing children to malicious explicit content. As a father of small children, and as a Attorney General, this is completely unacceptable," he said.
He also emphasized that despite knowing that these sites must comply with age verification laws, these companies have openly ignored HB 3 since the law took effect on January 1, 2025.
"We are taking legal steps against these online pornography perpetrators who deliberately exploit children's innocence for their financial gain," he said.
