JAKARTA Indonesia is the third largest country to use Canva, a popular design platform from Perth, Australia. This was revealed by SEA Regional Lead Canva, Yani Hornilla Donato.
In addition to occupying the third position in the world, Indonesia is also the largest market for Canva in the Asian region. This shows that simple and efficient design needs are needed by the community.
"Last year, the Indonesian community made more than one million designs in Canva. It is a reflection of how creativity can develop here (Indonesia), from class and campus, to small businesses, to startups," Yani explained at the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Creative Economy on Monday, July 28.
Seeing this, Canva is committed to expanding its scale in Indonesia. Since entering the market in 2017, around 84,000 educators and 5.5 million students have created more than 148 million designs on the editing platform.
