Android Users Can Now Move Google Chrome Address Bar Below Screen

JAKARTA Google Chrome users on Android will get an interesting new feature. Instead of viewing the address bar at the top of the screen, they will be able to move it to the bottom of the screen.

This is an interesting and has existed for a long time on iOS. Some Android users may be more interested in the appearance of the Chrome interface on Apple's devices and now they can also use it on Android.

"Now you can customize Chrome on Android by moving the address bar to the bottom of the screen," Google said via its official blog, quoted on Wednesday, June 25.

Google realizes that the best accessibility support is important, especially for Chrome users. By providing the address bar transfer option, users can easily access the application.

"One position of the address bar may feel more comfortable than the others. We designed this update to give you the flexibility to choose the location you want so you can explore more easily," Google explained.

To convert the address bar to the bottom of the screen, users only need to press the address bar at the top of the screen, then select the Change Address Bar to Lower option. Users can also change their position through the Address Bar menu in Settings.

This feature is being launched in stages, but it is not explained which countries will receive the feature first. The relocation feature of the address bar is confirmed to be widely available in the coming weeks.
