JAKARTA Gemini is known for its striking blue and purple since it was first launched. However, this color will no longer be Gemini's trademark as Google decided to change it.
This change was discovered by the Android Authority in the latest beta version of the Google app with launch number 16.24.66.sa.arm64. In the update, the Gemini logo is still star-shaped and shiny, but with no blue and purple gradation.
Gemini logo colors are made more colorful, even similar to the typical Google Assistant colors. Compared to the initial Gemini logo, this latest Gemini logo reflects more about Google products due to the color combination used.
Google still takes advantage of the effects of gradation, but with a richer color. The company immediately uses four colors at once, namely yellow, red, green, and blue, similar to the color on the Google logo.

This logo change will be visible when the user opens the app. On the opening screen, Google will first highlight the Gemini logo for a few seconds before displaying the option to chat with Gemini.
This logo color change will also be visible when Gemini processes answers. Usually, Gemini will display the caption 'Wait a minute' while showing the rotating Gemini logo while processing answers.
The logo also features previous blue and purple gradations. However, once the changes were applied to the latest beta version of the app, the colors on the logo also changed. It is not yet known when Google will roll out these changes widely.
