This feature supports direct translation, either in the form of text or audio. Apple says that this feature is activated directly by the AI model running on the device so that the entire conversation will be kept private.
Apple also revealed an increase in ChatGPT integration. In this latest generation of iOS, users can ask questions about what they see on the screen. When asking a question, ChatGPT will understand what users are asking.

Apple Music will get a new feature on iOS 26, namely Lyrics Translation. This feature is designed to understand song lyrics easily. There is also the Lyrics Pronounciation feature that helps users to sing, whatever the language.
For example, if users like songs from Korea, they will see text that has been romanized at the bottom of the original lyrics. The lyric translation feature will also be placed under the original lyrics.
Meanwhile, Apple Maps will get a Visited Places feature that will help users remember the various places they have visited. This feature can appear by detecting the location of the user.
Visited Places use comprehensive encryption so that it cannot be accessed by Apple. That way, users can visit their favorite places safely and comfortably.
