JAKARTA - XL SMART President Director and CEO Rajeev Sethi emphasized that after the merger between XL Axiata and Smartfren was completed, customers from each operator did not need to re-register.
Rajeev stated that all services will run as usual and nothing will change. Even if there is a change, XL SMART ensures that the changes are confirmed for the benefit of customers.
Just like the merger with Axis in 2014, customers don't need to re-register their cards. With the merger, companies are trying to make better offers for customers.
"The short answer is no. There are no changes in customer life related to re-registration and such things. If anything, the efforts made are to make customer life better," he explained at the EXCL & FREN Merger Development Press Conference on Tuesday, March 25 in Jakarta.
In addition, the changes that will occur are in the quality of the network. By combining the current spectrum of XL Axiata and Smartfren, it is hoped that it can provide better quality networks.

Meanwhile, with this new entity, XL SMART will focus the company on developing 5G networks and utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technology to improve network quality, customer satisfaction, and also internal improvements.
