JAKARTA As an email application with the highest number of users, Gmail strives to provide the best experience for its users. Therefore, Gmail launched an upgraded search feature.
Previously, the email search in Gmail did not run smoothly. Although the user remembers the keyword from the email they were looking for, Gmail was unable to show the appropriate incoming message or outgoing message. Now, the problem has been solved.
Google says that the Gmail search feature is now supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI). That way, search results can show more relevant results. In addition, email searches can also run faster.
If previously the search results looked random, now the appearance is more organized. For example, when a user types the word shoe, Gmail will display all messages that have the word. Interestingly, the search results can be displayed based on time or most relevant.

"Instead of only displaying emails in chronological order based on keywords, Gmail search results are now considering elements such as contemporaryity, most-clicked emails, and frequent contacts," Google said in its official broadcast.
Updates to this Gmail application have been launched globally, including in Indonesia. Users can already use AI-based search features in their mobile apps, both on iOS and Android.
This latest feature can also be used in the desktop version of Gmail. For now, AI-based search features can only be accessed by users with free accounts. Google plans to expand this feature to business users in the future.
The English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and French versions are automatically generated by the AI. So there may still be inaccuracies in translating, please always see Indonesian as our main language. (system supported by DigitalSiber.id)
