JAKARTA - Supporting the smooth homecoming for Eid 2025, GoPay, a Financial Technology business unit from PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia (GOTO), launched a transaction digitization initiative at Kalideres Terminal.

Through this initiative, GoPay provides education and registration of the GoPay Merchant application, which aims to facilitate sellers and buyers in buying and selling goods or services at Kalideres Terminal.

Through QRIS on the GoPay Merchant application, traders, autobus (PO) companies, and daily workers at Kalideres Terminal can more easily accept payments or tips.

"This initiative is part of GoPay's efforts to support the digitization of the micro trading sector in Indonesia through the use of QRIS," said Haryanto Tanjo, Head of Merchant Services, GoTo Financial.

According to Haryanto, the GoPay Merchant application will not only provide benefits for traders to reach more buyers during their homecoming period, considering cashless transactions are now the main choice for many people.

As a first step, this digitalization initiative includes a total of 298 users at Kalideres Terminal, consisting of 130 traders, 130 autobus companies, and 38 cleaning and porter service officers.

By utilizing the GoPay merchant application, they can now easily accept payments or tips using QRIS.

"We really appreciate GoPay's initiative in digitizing the Kalideres terminal. This program not only provides benefits for traders, but will also improve the quality of transportation and trade services in this area," said Head of Kalideres Bus Terminal, Revi Zulkarnaen.

He hopes that this step can be an example for other regions in introducing a more secure and efficient digital payment system, as well as providing additional comfort for travelers ahead of the 2025 homecoming.
