Strange! Siri Can't Answer The Question 'What Month Is Today'

JAKARTA Siri has not received Apple Intelligence support until now so his performance will not be as good as Gemini. However, this virtual assistant should be able to answer very simple questions.

In fact, Siri didn't work that well. Even though it has been relied on the iPhone to Mac for 14 years, Siri still can't answer questions like 'What month is it now?'. This is a huge setback, even for Apple-class technology.

This setback was shared by one of the Reddit users which was then shared by 9to5mac. When asked about what month it is today, the virtual assistant refused to answer. Worse yet, Siri admitted that he did not understand the question.

"Sorry, I don't understand," Siri said. Several other users tried to ask a similar question and Siri still gave the same result. This is quite strange as well as embarrassing because the moon is a very simple question.

In addition to giving the answer 'not understanding', Siri can answer correctly, but it is too complete. For example, the virtual assistant will say 'Thursday, March 20, 2025' when asked what month it is today.

This response further shows that Siri cannot process simple questions. Instead of answering the moon alone, Siri actually gave too complete an answer. This makes Siri far behind his competitor, Gemini.

Apple has not yet responded to Siri's response to the moon. Most likely, iPhone users can only see the right answer after Siri gets an Apple Intelligence update next year.
