Apple Trying To Overcome Racist Word Bugs That Are Automatically Corrected To 'Trump'

JAKARTA Apple's latest bug is being noticed by many parties because it includes the name of the number one person in America, namely Donald Trump. The reason is, the word 'racist' will be directed at the US President.

According to MacRumors reports, some iPhone users realized that their device had problems processing speech. When dictating racist words, suddenly Trump's name appears on the screen.

This finding is quite surprising because the mention of racist words to Trump is quite far. However, it doesn't always happen to Trump. Sometimes, Trump says, it will appear briefly on the screen before correcting it to the real word.

Apart from showing Trump's word, Apple is also processing racist words into other words, such as 'rhett' or 'rouch'. However, as happened to Trump, the iPhone will correct the word quickly.

This bug went viral after a video showing the bug circulated on TikTok and other social media platforms. Although it seems strange, this issue has been confirmed by an Apple spokesperson after the bug went viral.

According to an unnamed spokesman for The New York Times, this issue is caused by overlapping phonetics. Apple promises improvement as soon as possible. However, former member of Apple's Siri team, John Burkey, is considering other causes.

According to him, this problem may have happened because of the code in Apple's system. It's unclear whether this code was added to Apple's code or its Artificial Intelligence (AI) feature, but it's quite funny according to Burkey.
