JAKARTA Not long ago, it was revealed that Google was launching a Gemini upload feature for free users. Now, Google has confirmed the launch immediately.

In accordance with Google's statement on platform X recently, the document upload feature is already available for users who do not subscribe to the Gemini Advanced package. This feature is available to Gemini on various devices, both iOS, Android, and desktop.

Google states that Gemini is free now supports a context window of 32,000 tokens or the equivalent of 50 text pages. That way, file uploads still have a usage limit.

This limit is also very much felt for those who are used to using Gemini Advanced. The reason is, with paid packages, users get access to a context window of 1 million tokens or about 1,500 pages of text.

In addition, the type of file that is allowed to be uploaded is also limited. Users can only upload several types of files. The following is the file type that is allowed, quoted from 9to5mac.

To use the file uploading feature, users only need to open the Gemini app, then tap on the added icon to the left of the Tanya Gemini bar. Later, users will see two file uploading options.

Users can upload files from internal applications or from Google Drive. This ability can be accessed at Gemini which is available throughout the country, including Indonesia.
