Apple Releases IOS 18.4 Beta 1, This Is A New List Of Features That Can Be Accessed

JAKARTA Apple finally launched the first 18-beta iOS on February 21. As expected by many parties, this latest iOS brings many improvements, including new features.

Unfortunately, in the first beta update, there are no additional features for Apple Intelligence yet. Currently, Apple is only rolling out some features that improve app performance and add language support for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) feature.

For languages, Apple has finally offered French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, to English localized for users in Singapore and India. For new features, here are some of the features, quoted from MacRumors.

Ambient Music

Apple added a new option on iOS 18.4 called Ambient Music or Around Music into the Control Center. With this new feature, Apple now offers four different sound categories, namely Sleep, Relax Productivity, and Welfare.

Users can enter each category into the Control Center. If one of the categories is knocked, the device will play a randomly choice of sound or music based on its category.

Privacy Security Evidence

Apple always prioritizes privacy on its devices and this time, the company wants to make its security features more prominent. On iOS 18.4, users will see a small point that clarifies the use of the camera or microphone.

Previously, this point only appeared in the menu bar, but Apple moved the dot to the left. The display is clearer thanks to a black background. If the user realizes the point when it does not access the camera or microphone, there may be unauthorized access.

Vision Pro App

Apple presents the Vision Pro application on the iPhone for its owners. This application is designed to manage headsets and help users find content to learn various new features.

In this application, users will see a videoOS-based application and content download tool, a usage tips page, and a My Vision Pro section that can prepare Personalized Spatial Audio.

There are other features rolling out on iOS 18.4 beta 1, including a new shortcut, a mobile signal power display at the Control Center, and a new widget. Another upgrade will be added to another 18.4 beta iOS update.
