OPPO Find N5 Will Not Be Launched In Europe

JAKARTA OPPO has launched Find N5, the world's thinst foldable phone. Although confirmed to be released globally, this 8.93-millimeter phone will not be available across countries, one of which is Europe.

The company directly confirmed that the device would not be available throughout Europe. OPPO said that this limitation occurred because they were more careful in releasing devices in various regions.

"At OPPO, we are carefully adjusting our product launchers to each region based on deep market research and strategic priorities. Find N5 will not be launched in Europe," OPPO told YouTuber TheTechChap.

Before confirming that the OPPO Find N5 will not be released in Europe, the company had stated that the foldable phone would also not be available in the US. Most likely, this smart device was also not launched in Canada.

Instead of launching a foldable device that got a lot of positive reactions, OPPO said it would release the Reno 13 series across Europe. This device is believed to be the best replacement for offering support for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) feature.

"Instead, in Q1 2025, we will introduce the Reno13 series across Europe on February 24, which offers consumers more choice with cutting-edge AI features and stylized design and following trends," the OPPO said.

Samsung's Position Will Not Be Threatened

With the various features offered by OPPO Find N5, this device can be a formidable competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. However, fans of folding phones in Europe do not have any other advanced foldable phone options other than the Galaxy Z Fold.

Apart from the fact that the Find N5 was not launched in Europe, OnePlus had confirmed that they would not be releasing folding phones this year. That way, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 or Z Fold 7 which will be released in July or August this year will not be threatened.
