JAKARTA YouTube launched Veo 2, a video creation model from Google DeepMind, into Shorts. Thanks to this AI model, content creators can create Artificial Intelligence (AI) video clips for their Shorts.

Veo 2 will be added to Dream Screen, an experimental feature that creators say YouTube needs. This AI model makes Dream Screen more sophisticated and can produce high-quality videos according to the user's style.

The duration of video creation in Dream Screen has also been improved. When creators need additional imaginative scenes, they can create video clips with the desired narrative. Even though the videos made are new content, the creation will be fast.

"Veo 2 understands real-world physics and human movement better, so the results are more detailed and realistic. You can even define styles, lenses, or cinematic effects, making Dream Screen an easy and fun way," said YouTube.

With this upgrade, Dream Screen can now be used for two things. First, creators can create a video background for their Shorts. The method is quite easy, they just need to open the camera, then choose Green Screen, then select the Dream Screen Menu.

After that, enter the command to create a background. Second, users can add additional video clips to the video content that has been created. To create it, YouTube users can open the Shorts camera, then select the medium in the lower left corner.

After that, tap the Create menu at the top, input a detailed command so that the results are accurate, select an image, then tap the Video Create option. After that, select the desired duration and the creator can continue editing the video.
