JAKARTA Google recently introduced the Deep Research feature for Gemini users on its website. After being expanded to Android, Google is now presenting Deep Research Gemini on iOS devices.

The Deep Research function has not changed at Gemini for iOS. Users can still use this Gemini research feature to create or compile complex reports, become research assistants, and support in-depth report analysis.

Deep Research is a feature designed to do research. With advanced reasoning capabilities and understanding of a longer context, Gemini's new model is able to respond to commands in great detail with a 'meriset' style.

Users can ask simple or detailed questions. Although the question is not so long, this chatbot will respond with a multi-step plan that can be traced more deeply. The more detailed the order, the more accurate Gemini's response.

Users can also reset their commands. For example, when a user asks for a two-week holiday activity plan in another country, Gemini will provide analytical reports from various websites to provide ideas for its users.

If the response given is not appropriate or the user wants to provide more detailed directions, they can tap the Edit Plan button available in the search results. Next to the button, there's a Start Research button to see the results of Deep Research analysis.

After clicking the Start Research button, Gemini will make research reports with a duration of five to ten minutes. For now, Deep Research does not support media uploading such as files or images and does not support Gemini Live.
