JAKARTA Samsung launched Interactive Display, its newest Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based screen on Tuesday, January 21. The screen is on display at Bett 2025, Europe's largest educational technology exhibition.

On its official website, Samsung says that this screen is designed to focus on education. By combining advanced hardware and cutting-edge AI features, Samsung wants to create a smarter and more attractive learning environment.

"Samsung envisions a future where every classroom benefits from AI's transformative power," said Hoon Chung, Samsung Electronics' Vice President of Visual Display Business. "We are committed to creating inspiring technology."

Chung seems to believe that Interactive Display can be a solution to intelligent education. The reason is, this technology is equipped with the Samsung AI Assistant which can do many things, including describing audio in real-time.

In addition to the transcription feature, there are several other features that can improve the learning experience of students. Here are some of the features that Samsung presents thanks to AI Assistant:

Although this device has just been introduced in Europe, Samsung plans to expand the AI service to more educational markets. The South Korean company will form partnerships with global AI companies, one of which is Google, in this expansion.
