JAKARTA - Technologists and cybersecurity predict that AI's Agentics or AI agents will become a trend in 2025, aiming to signal a paradigm shift in human-AI interactions.

However, with its capabilities that can operate autonomously, communicate in natural language, and collaborate smoothly with both humans and technology, AI's Agentic raises a lot of concerns.

Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Nezar Patria, said that Agentic AI is a challenge for workers, where many jobs will be replaced by this technology.

However, the Country Leader of Salesforce for Indonesia, Iman Muhammad, emphasized that the AI Agentic should not be seen as a threat, but as a tool that can increase human productivity.

"About being replaced, this is actually a matter of revolution. If we talk about AI agents, how much (work) might be replaced? It's not just a matter of being replaced, but how can we use this agent to support work in a more important area," explained Iman at the Media Briefing Salesforce on Thursday, January 16 in Jakarta.

Iman also said that although many jobs would be replaced by AI agents, there would be more jobs to be created later.

He also reminded that success in the AI era depends on how humans adapt these technologies. According to him, it is very important to optimize the use of AI as a tool to multiply human talent.

In addition, this automatic agent will also create a new job later. This is part of the revolution. So basically we can't see this technology as a threat, but as a tool to make us move forward," he stressed.
