ASUS Will Launch 12 Ultra Zenfone With AI Camera

JAKARTA ASUS confirmed that they will launch the latest generation Zenfone series in the near future. The device in the flagship class that will be launched is Zenfone 12 Ultra.

The news of the launch of Zenfone's latest cellphone was conveyed through the official ASUS account on platform X, formerly known as Twitter, on January 12. ASUS explained that the Zenfone 12 Ultra will be released on February 6 with a major increase.

"Zenfone 12 Ultra brings AI power, so be prepared to step into a new era of extraordinary cellular photography! Look forward to the best update on February 6," wrote ASUS.

As the company has signaled, the Zenfone 12 Ultra camera will take advantage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. Images shared by ASUS also show that this new phone will present an AI-backed locked autofocus.

Based on the included hashtag, this autofocus feature will be named AI Snap. Apart from the camera, ASUS will probably improve device performance by launching other AI-based features.

When compared to the previous generation of Zenfone Ultra, this new device was launched faster. Zenfone 11 Ultra was released in March and entered Indonesia in June last year. Most likely, Zenfone 12 Ultra will enter Indonesia in May or June.

To date, there have been no leaks regarding the Zenfone 12 Ultra. However, this device is believed to be using Qualcomm's newest chipset and the screen is bigger than the previous generation. It is possible that this year's device will be released at a cheaper price than ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra.
