JAKARTA Not long ago, Meta made a big announcement by stopping independent fact-checkers and switching to the Community Records feature. Now, the feature is starting to be worked on by Meta.

According to the findings of the Application Leaker, Alessandro Paluzzi, through the Threads platform, Community Records can be submitted by registered users by clicking the three-dot icon in the upper right corner. The option is above the Report menu.

After that, users will be directed to a new tab to type in more accurate information. At the top of the typing column, Threads users registered in this program will see a caption that reads, "Your note is anonymous."

Still on the same page, users will see the Submit button at the bottom. When the button is taped, a clearer or more accurate explanation will not be shown immediately. The submitted Community Notes will go through the assessment stage first.

Overall, this feature is no different from the Community Records on platform X, formerly known as Twitter. The way it works is almost the same where X will review the notes submitted before being shown to the public.

Usually, this feature will be seen in posts with multiple interactions. If any user X makes fake or controversial posts to get monetization, Community Records will be visible at the bottom of the post with links as a source of information.

Although it is not yet known what the Community Records look like after being published in Threads, it looks like the note will also be displayed at the bottom of the post. It is not certain how long Threads will review notes before publication.
