Realme Neo 7 SE Appears In MIIT Certification, Design And Specification Revealed

JAKARTA Realme has confirmed that it will soon launch a new phone called Realme Neo 7 SE in the Chinese market. The phone is armed with a Dimensity 8800-Max chipset and will be placed under Realme Neo 7 which uses Dimensity 9300+. Although Realme has not disclosed further details, this device has appeared on the MIIT certification platform in China, which has also leaked its design.

Based on the image that appears in the MIIT certification, the device with model number RMX5080 comes with a flat OLED panel on the front. On the back, there is a two-camera setup equipped with an LED flash unit. This certification also reveals that the device will be powered by a battery with a capacity of 6,850mAh (measurable value).

According to reports, Realme Neo 7 SE will have an OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and support a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. For safety, this phone is likely to be equipped with an optical fingerprint sensor below the screen.

The Dimensity 8800-Max chipset used in this device is expected to be able to compete with Redmi Turbo 4 which uses Dimensity 8400-Ultra. This device is predicted to come with RAM up to 16 GB LPDDR5x and internal storage up to 512 GB UFS 4.0.

From the camera side, Neo 7 SE is reportedly carrying a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera. This device will also have a battery with a capacity of 7,000mAh (typical value) and support fast charging of up to 80W.

This phone will run the Realme UI 6 operating system based on Android 14.

Realme Neo 7 SE is expected to debut in February 2025 in China. It is possible that this device will be released globally under a new name, namely Realme GT 7T.

With attractive specifications and competitive prices, Realme Neo 7 SE has the potential to become a tough competitor in the premium medium segment.
