JAKARTA Lenovo launched a new line of devices with the Legion series at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) on January 7. The company introduced six new devices.

Some of the devices introduced were Lenovo Legion Go S 8 inches, Lenovo Legion Go 8.8 inches, Lenovo Legion Pro 7i, Pro 5i, and Pro 5, and Lenovo Legion Tab. The technology company also released the latest Legion Space which is redesigned and accessories.

Jun Ouyang, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Lenovo Consumer Segment, said that all the latest devices in the Legion series have been redefined for gamers. That way, users can experience better playing.

"By combining cutting-edge hardware, gamer-focused AI-powered software, and new form factors, the Lenovo Legion empowers next-generation gamers to go beyond their limits and achieve their goals," Jun said, quoted on Lenovo's official website.

The 8-inch Lenovo Legion Go S is a handheld gaming device that is available in two options, one of which is supported by SteamOS. Weighing 730 grams, this device can be taken anywhere, be it a car, plane, and even a train.

This gaming device uses a PureSight 120Hz 1 WUXGA touch screen and an AMD Ryzen Z2 Go processor designed exclusively for the Lenovo Legion Go series. With up to 32GB of RAM, the 8-inch Legion Go S also supports 6 WiFi and a pair of USB 4 ports.

Lenovo also introduced an 8.8-inch Lenovo Legion Go prototype. With top-level specifications, this prototype adopts the latest AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor and RDNA 3.5 graphics and 7500Mhz LPDDR5X RAM to 32GB.

In addition to introducing handheld gaming devices, Lenovo also launched gaming laptops with the Legion Pro series. Lenovo Legion Pro 7i and Pro 5i use the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor. In contrast to the Lenovo Legion Pro 5 which uses the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX processor.

Each device is equipped with a different technology, according to the needs of its users. The Legion Pro 7i uses Coldfront Vapor with hyperchamber technology that produces TDP up to 250W, while the Legion Pro 5i and Pro 5 use Coldfront Hyper technology with TDP up to 200W.

Finally, there is an 8.8-inch Lenovo Legion Tab. This device is supported by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform that supports ray tracing and up to 165 FPS. The battery capacity is 6550mAh with a USB-C bypass charging port.
