Trump's Family And Allies Partyed Amid Crypto Industry Euphoria At The Gulf Bitcoin Conference

JAKARTA Eric Trump, son of Elected President Donald Trump, will be the mainnote speaker at this week's Bitcoin MENA conference in Abu Dhabi. This event is an important moment for the Trump family and its allies to affirm their support for the new crypto platform, the World Liberty Financial (WLF), which they have been spinning for since last September.

Eric Trump is scheduled to give a speech on Tuesday, December 10 in front of more than 6,000 participants. In addition, he will also hold a special "whole-only" session in the VIP room of the event, which can only be attended by exclusive ticket holders for $9,999.

Donald Trump, the President-elected of the US, became the main supporters of the WLF, while Eric, Donald Jr., and Barron acted as ambassadors of the platform. Based on company documents, Donald Trump has rights to 22.5 billion WLF tokens and is part of his earnings.

"This bitcoin conference is very important to the crypto industry because it is one of the longest-standing conferences to bring industry players together," said Marshall Beard, COO Gemini, a crypto exchange platform backed by Cameron and TylerLUVoss, Trump's close ally.

Trump's support for Donald Trump for crypto has turned his skepticism into a commitment to making the United States a "world crypto capital." Bitcoin also set a new record last week with a value of 100,000 US dollars (Rp1.58 billion).

In the upcoming administration, Trump has also appointed former PayPal executive David Sacks, as "Czar" for artificial intelligence and cryptocurrencies at the White House. Elon Musk, one of Trump's top supporters in the 2024 election, is also reportedly contributing more than $250 million to support the campaign.

Apart from Eric Trump, other speakers who will appear at the event include Justin Sun, the founder of Tron, who became WLF's biggest investor after buying a token worth 30 million US dollars (Rp475.3 billion). Changpeng Zhao, the founder of Binance, will also hold a special session despite just completing a four-month prison sentence for violating money laundering law in the US.
