JAKARTA Samsung will reportedly release its newest device, which is advanced smart glasses, in January next year. This Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses competitor will be released in conjunction with the Galaxy S25.
The news of this launch was first revealed by Korean media Yonhap News. Although planning to release his smart glasses in a few months, Samsung will only display the device's 'picture or video' at the launch of its flagship phone.
Apparently, the plan to launch Samsung smart glasses will run like the Galaxy Ring. Initially, Samsung would show off its devices at Unpacked events, then launch the device fully by the middle of the year, along with the launch of folding phones.

However, it is not yet certain whether Samsung will use the same launch system. If the company displays only its smart glasses at Unpacked January next year, there is still the possibility that this device will be released outside the Unpacked event.
However, from the leaks Yonhap News got, these smart glasses will actually be released in the third quarter of next year. This leak is close to the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, around July or August.
Although the device is only available next year, Samsung will launch a software platform for XR products in mid or late December. It is not yet known what features will be visible at the launch of this software.
Please note that this software is the result of Samsung and Google's collaboration. The two partnerships have been revealed since February last year. Samsung is deliberately working with Google because these smart glasses are supported by Android.
