JAKARTA - The Indonesia Investment Authority (INA) and Granite Asia, a leading multi-asset investment company, have established a strategic partnership which was inaugurated through the Investment Framework Agreement (IFA) for digital transformation in Indonesia.

This partnership emphasizes a joint commitment to strengthen the Indonesian technology sector and provide the capital and resources needed for cross-sectoral businesses to adopt digital integration or present advanced technology.

Through this partnership, INA and Granite Asia will allocate up to 1.2 billion US dollars (Rp 18.89 trillion) in various investment opportunities that are in line with the strategic priorities of the two organizations.

The investment will include equity and hybrid capital solutions with a main focus on business actors in Indonesia and Nexus Indonesia, either through existing operations or introducing technology that is beneficial to local markets in the long term.

"This partnership makes us introduce transformative technology to Indonesia, facilitate digital transformation in key sectors, and strengthen a wider technology ecosystem," said Ridha Wirakusumah, Chair of the INA Board of Directors.

Through this collaboration, Ridha added, the two parties will work together to build a strong foundation for Indonesia's future by presenting the best global innovation that will contribute to the country's long-term economic development.

"We see great potential in Indonesia's rapidly growing economy and technology ecosystem, and are excited to partner with INA in accelerating this transformation," said Jenny Lee, Senior Managing Partner of Granite Asia.
