JAKARTA Google, Alphabet's parent company, is developing artificial intelligence (AI) technology that is able to take over the control of the web browser to complete tasks such as research and shopping. This was reported by The Information on Saturday, October 26.

The product, dubbed Project Jarvis code, is expected to be exhibited in December along with the launch of Google's latest flagship major language model, Gemini.

This technology allows AI to interact directly with browsers or user devices, automate various activities that are usually carried out manually.

Other technology companies, such as OpenAI supported by Microsoft, are also exploring similar concepts through computer agents that can conduct research and act based on the information found.

Google and AI company, Anthropic, plan to develop the agent's capabilities further. Until this news was published, Google had not yet responded to requests for comment from the media.
