Handover Of Positions, Meutya Promises To Continue The Previous Kominfo Program

Meutya Hafid has been officially inaugurated as Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs and has handed over positions with former Minister of Communication and Information Budi Arie Setiadi.

In his remarks, Meutya conveyed her commitment to continuing the programs that had been launched by her predecessor, especially in efforts to eradicate online gambling and improve data security.

"I have conveyed to him that his war on online gambling will certainly be continued together," said Meutya. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining data security and ensuring equal internet access for all Indonesian people.

On this occasion, Meutya expressed her gratitude to Budi Arie who had helped her a lot in the transition process. He praised the dedication and hard work of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics team under the leadership of Budi Arie.

Meanwhile, Budi Arie also congratulated Meutya and hoped that the cooperative digitization program could run well under the leadership of the new Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs.

"So one of the 100 days of my ministry's priority program other than rebranding the second is the digitization of cooperatives," said Budi Arie. He hopes that digital faces at the Ministry of Communication and Information can help realize the program.

Nevertheless, Meutya acknowledged that the challenges faced by the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs were enormous. However, he is optimistic that with the support of all parties, these challenges can be overcome.

One of the main challenges is to ensure that the leadership transition runs smoothly and does not interfere with services to the community. However, Meutya invites all employees to work well together and provide the best for the nation and state.
